This is the central business district of Ramat Gan, a satellite city east of Tel Aviv. The diamond exchange district is the base for many major banks, foreign embassies and the offices of international organisations such as the British Council. The area has a significant number of business parks and skyscraper office developments, including the 240m City Gate Tower, Israel's tallest building. As well as attracting hi-tech businesses, Ramat Gan is an important manufacturing centre, producing textiles, electrical equipment and furniture. There are also food processing and metal production industries locally. The Tel Aviv Ramat Gan business centre has its own car parking, and is a 20 minute drive from Ben Gurion International Airport. It is within walking distance of a railway station and other public transport links.
