The 88-storey skyscraper in the Luijiazui area of the Pudong district is a landmark building, which is modelled on traditional Chinese architecture. The building's proportions revolve around the number eight which is associated with prosperity in Chinese culture. A centrepiece of the renowned Pudong skyline, it is one of the tallest buildings in the world and a much sought-after business address.
