Hamburg Chilehaus Chilehaus A, Fischertwiete 2, 20095 Hamburg   The Hamburg Chilehaus business centre is located within a famous 7-storey building, renowned as an exceptional example of the 1920s Brick Expressionism style of architecture. Designed to look like the prow of a ship, the angular building is a visually stunning city landmark, taking up a 6,000 m2 site spanning Fischertwiete Street. This is one of the most recognisable addresses in Hamburg's commercial and media district. The building has been renovated to incorporate the latest technological business advances. The house is considered as sign of recovery after the First World War and is next to the Michel one of the flagships of the Hanseatic city. The magnificent building, in the heart of Hamburg is under monument protection since 27 September 1983. Meanwhile, it has been included as well in the Tentative List (World Heritage) of UNESCO.
