Dar es Salaam Seaport  Amani Place, Ohio Street, Office Park, Dar Es Salaam   The Dar es Salaam Seaport business centre is on the seventh floor of a high-rise in the Ilala downtown area. This is the administrative region where many government offices and ministries are based. The central business district is also located in Ilala, and the business centre is close to major banks and the headquarters of many leading businesses as well as a number of foreign embassies. Dar es Salaam is Tanzania's commercial capital. It is near the massive natural harbour that makes the city an international port where most of country's manufacturing industries are concentrated, mainly in simple consumer goods like tobacco, textiles, food and furniture. The Julius Nyerere International Airport is 11km away and the main rail station is within easy reach. Dar es Salaam is Tanzania's transportation hub, with all main train routes and several highways originating here, including a rail connection across the border to Zambia.
